Mount Rainier!

Is so beautiful!
Mom and I, and two of my (normal) roommates went there yesterday, and it was SO AMAZING!!!!
Every year, I see something else that is just spectacular!

This was a funny pic- I strapped my camera to a tree and took this one, since Mom and I were the only people that were brave enough to get down by the RUSHING river! So pretty!

I had fun experimenting with all my camera settings... this one was taken as I was laying down on a rock by the river... so cool!

And the CUTEST little chipmunk was grubbin on a plant as we got to the visitor's center!!!

The views are always spectacular! I always feel like I'm in Switzerland or something!

I want to go somewhere EVERY weekend in the summertime! It's just so beautiful to pass up, especially in the summer, when the weather is so beautiful, and the sun is out and everything is green and blue and just soo neat!
Lots of good memories at Mt. Rainier!

weird.

So I'm starting to use this blog MORE now, and someone named Amanda left me a comment, but then her profile is private. It's cool she commented, but why have a blog when it's private? I mean- I guess it's a diary. I dunno. weird. I love hearing what you think - so please feel free to comment- but I'd love even more if you say who you were! ;)

Angels...

YAY! So, last night, I was feeling well enough to go see Daniel! This is Daniel Kamas- he's an AWESOME Seattle artist that you MUST see if you're ever in Seattle (or Houston) and you'll love his music instantly! At least once every concert, his music and lyrics brings me to tears, and yep- again- he did last night!

The last time I saw Daniel, was only FOUR days after I got out of the hospital, after having brain surgery!!! He's such an angel- he held a benefit concert for me, and MAN was that ever a HUGE blessing, since I only got my disability check a FEW WEEKS ago! I can't believe how perfect the timing was with that concert- seriously.

Last night was a benefit show for his girlfriend, Georgia's mission trip...
She will be leaving in a few weeks to go to Vietnam to bring peace, and help to children there! I'm so happy to have met both of them, they are both such beautiful angels on this earth!
And how special that they know and love each other! Here they are together after the show. Aren't they precious?!?!?

Anyways- the Tractor in Ballard was fun- a little loud to hear all the music that I wanted to hear, but hey- it's a bar, right, and people go there to hang after a long day and talk and drink- so what are you gonna do?

I also wanted to post a link to another organization that I think is wonderful,
and I believe is a small step toward being good to each other- as human beings,
and as people who genuinely care about other people-

If you live in the Seattle area, there's always opportunities to help!

RIDICULOUS.

I just found out- my car will be costing me $450 to repair!!!

I am so freakin tired of cars.
I knew I should have dove in to a new car.
Ok- so I guess even new cars don't guarantee that you'll not have repairs,
but so far on this car, we've spent

700- to fix the heater
400- for new brakes
200- for new tires
and nowwwww
450- for new rear calipers and brake shoes/pads.

I SERIOUSLY wish my Dad would have just given me the money he spent on getting this car, and just let ME pick out a NEWER car. Oh well, I guess beggars can't be choosers, and you can always get a new car that has just as many problems, I guess. But- seriously- Come on, Dad- did you even LOOK at everything with this car? I swear it's been in a wreck. All the paint on the right side is faded, and looks re-polished. The inside panel of the right passenger door does not stay in the door frame, and the passenger seat belt needed to be replaced, and now the right rear calipers are going out? Coincidence- probably not. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!
ok.
Back to work.

LONG needed update...

So... I seriously need to be packing, but I wanted to update my Bloggington. I should be packing because after work tomorrow, I am hitting the road and going to Oregon!!! Ok- so all my California friends might not find that too exciting, but- I am SO ready to be near some ocean waves, to not answer a phone 300 times in a day, and to just answer to me, myself, and I!
